Personally, we found the cabbage soup diet to be very easy to adhere to. Within a day, you look so much better and feel so much better. Your body is so much more energetic and your skin looks more hydrated.

With the 7-day diet, you follow a specific eating plan that is limited to certain foods. Keeping your water and green tea updated is important as the cabbage soup has excellent detoxifying properties too.

  • 5 carrots, chopped
  • 3 chopped onions
  • 2 (16 oz) cans of whole peeled tomatoes with liquid
  • A large head of cabbage, chopped
  • 1 (1 ounce) envelope dry onion soup mix
  • One (15 ounce) can cut green beans, drain
  • 2 liters of tomato juice
  • 2 green peppers, diced
  • 10 stalks of celery, chopped
  • 1 (14 oz) can beef broth

How to make cabbage soup diet recipe

Put the carrots, onions, tomatoes, cabbage, green beans, peppers, and celery in a large saucepan.

Add onion soup mix, tomato juice, beef broth, and enough water to cover vegetables.

Let simmer until the vegetables are soft. Cabbage soup can be kept in the refrigerator for several days.

Day one: fruit: Eat all the fruits you want (except bananas). Just eat your soup and fruits for the first day. For drinks – unsweetened teas, cranberry juice and water.

Second day: vegetables: Eat any fresh, raw, or cooked vegetables of your choice until filled.

Try to eat green leafy vegetables and stay away from dry beans, peas, and corn.

Eat all the vegetables you want with your soup. At dinner, reward yourself with a large baked potato with butter. Don’t eat fruit today.

Day three: mix days one and two: Eat all the soup, fruits, and vegetables you want. No baked potato.

Fourth day: bananas and skimmed milk: Eat up to eight bananas and drink as many glasses of skimmed milk as you want that day with your soup. This day is designed to reduce your candy cravings.

Fifth day: beef or chicken and tomatoes: 10 to 20 ounces of beef and up to six fresh tomatoes. On that day, drink at least 6 to 8 glasses of water to wash the uric acid out of your body. Eat your soup at least once that day.

You can eat fried or baked chicken instead of beef (but absolutely no chicken on the skin). If you prefer, you can replace beef with fried fish on one of the beef days (but not both).

Sixth day: beef and vegetables: Eat beef or skinless chicken and vegetables to your heart’s content today.

You can have 2 or 3 steaks of leafy green vegetables if you want. No baked potato. Eat your soup at least once.

Day 7: Brown rice, unsweetened fruit juices and vegetables: Again stuff, stuff, stuff yourself. Be sure to eat your soup at least once a day.

You can use chicken broth or vegetable broth with spiced canned tomatoes to spice them up. It shouldn’t vary your results and will taste significantly better.

Season with salt, pepper, herbs and spices throughout the diet. This will take the edge off any leniency.

You need to stick to the cabbage soup diet for 7 days and eat your soup at least once a day. You must not consume bread, alcohol, or carbonated drinks, even diet soda.

Although results vary, we tried this diet and lost about 8 pounds. You should manage to lose 15 pounds easily. Some took in more. 10 pounds would be a great result and is achieved on a regular basis, according to review sites.
